DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury just can't wait for July 4th so they're getting a jump on the fun by setting off their fireworks at Candlewood Lake this Saturday, June 25 (rain day June 26).
And to help make it easier for everyone to enjoy the brilliant lights, a free Carvel shuttle will be available in front of the Carvel in the North Street Plaza from 6:30 to 11 p.m. The shuttle will run a non-stop loop the entire time.
Fireworks begin at dusk, so boaters will want to be in place early. The event is put on by the Danbury Volunteer Fire Department.
