Faculty Puts Art On Exhibit At Danbury's Western Connecticut State

DANBURY, Conn. — The Department of Art at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury opened the fall semester with an exhibit highlighting the work of its teaching faculty.

The exhibition features the works of 24 full- and part-time art faculty members in a wide variety of media, including photography, sculpture, drawing, painting and assemblage.

The exhibition opened Aug. 24, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 13, in the Art Gallery at the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Ext. in Danbury.

The Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The Gallery will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 6.
