West Redding Observatory Offers Views Of The Autumn Stars

WEST REDDING, Conn. -- The New Pond Farm Observatory in West Redding invites stargazers of all ages to visit Saturday at 7:15 p.m. to view the autumn sky.

Rising fall constellations, Saturn, Venus and the closest neighboring galaxy, Andromeda, will all be visible.

Admission for the event is $4 per person with a maximum of $16 per family for members of the Discovery Center and $6 per person with a maximum of $24 per family for nonmembers.

The New Pond Farm Observatory is located at 101 Marchant Road in West Redding. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
