Mad Hackers Invading Danbury Library, Innovation Center For Steam Fair

DANBURY, Conn. -- Mad Hackers' S.T.E.A.M. Fair will take over Danbury Library and Danbury Innovation Center on Oct. 17.

S.T.E.A.M. Fair will provide hands-on and visual exhibits featuring 3D printers, homemade silly putty, LEGO robots, Minecraft, artwork that combines low and high tech, marshmallow catapults and more from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Connecticut-based string band Union Rail will perform old time American music along with their own singalongs. Burnkit 2600 will play a set on homemade electronic musical gadgets.

Rymackee’s Café and the "MEAT the Press" and "StrEATery" food trucks will provide refreshments. 

The event is a celebration of the elements of S.T.E.A.M. – science, technology, engineering, art and math.

Day parking will be available at Patriot Parking Garage at 21 Delay St. for $3. Regular fees apply at Bardo Parking Garage at 10 Library Place.
