Comprehensive Diabetes Education Classes Offered in March in Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. – Danbury Hospital's Diabetes Self-Management Education program will be offering comprehensive diabetes education in March, with morning and evening class options in Danbury and afternoon options in Southbury.

Certified diabetes educators will run these diabetes self-management education classes.

Danbury classes -- The morning and evening options will be held at 41 Germantown Rd., Suite B03. Morning classes will be on Thursday, March 10, March 17 and March 24, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Evening classes will be on Wednesday, March 9, March 16 and March 23, from 5-7 p.m.

Southbury classes -- Afternoon classes take place in Southbury at 22 Old Waterbury Rd., in the first-floor conference room. They will be on Thursday, March 10, March 17 and March 24, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

For many, these classes will be covered by health insurance. If paying out of pocket, they would cost $232. For more information and to register, please call Joan at 203-739-4980.
