Beekeeper Pays A Visit To Danbury Library

DANBURY, Conn. -- Beekeeper Ned Farrell will give a presentation from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Danbury Library.

Farrell will use real apiary equipment and photographs as he informs the audience on the world of honeybees, what they do for us, the role of the beekeeper, the various types of bees in a hive, the creation of honey and the basics of bee biology and society. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation. 

Farrell owns The Bee Happy Co. and has 25 years of experience with honeybees in the United States and "killer" bees in Paraguay. The company's all-natural hive products will be available for purchase.
