With more than 300 stores across the globe, Primark recently begun focusing on the U.S. market, especially in the Northeast. The Danbury location will be the company's third U.S. store, said News-Times.
The store, which provides affordable fashion for the entire family, is taking over about 56,000 square feet of space that was once home to Sears, which has consolidated in its lower level space, the story said. Primark expects to hire as many as 250 employees, added News-Times.
