Hanna Andersson will open its second retail store in Connecticut on Friday, April 28, at the Danbury Fair Mall.

"Being able to provide an in-store experience really brings the Hanna quality to life for customers because they can touch and feel our wonderful product,” said Adam Stone, President and CEO of Hanna Andersson.

The unique Swedish-inspired brand is known for its classic bold striped sleepwear, iconic dresses and colorful tees.

The Hanna brand — which has been around since 1983 — offers clothing for babies through preteens; a women’s collection, Love Hanna; and Hanna Home.

Lines are expected to form early for the grand opening at 10 a.m. The new store will be on the first level near the center court.

Grand openings at Hanna Andersson — with giveaways and coupons — usually attract long lines of over 100 people.

Hanna will be providing free gifts to customers on Friday, April 28, through Sunday, April 30.

On Friday, the first 500 customers will receive a free pair of long johns. The first 100 customers on Saturday and Sunday will receive a free $20 Hanna gift card.

Along with free gifts, customers will be able to take advantage of buy one, get one free on all baby and kids sleepwear and 30 percent off the rest of their purchase (not including the buy one, get one free sleepwear).

In Connecticut, it also has an outlet in Clinton and a store in the Westfarms Mall in Farmington as well as in the nearby Westchester Mall in White Plains, N.Y.

Besides its famous catalog, Hanna has 65 retail stores and 13 outlet stores in 26 states. For more information, click here.
