Downtown Danbury's Tuxedo Junction To Close This Month

DANBURY, Conn. – Tuxedo Junction, the longstanding music venue in Danbury that has hosted national acts including Joan Jett, Stephen Stills, Kansas, 38 Special and Oasis, will close its doors for good Aug. 31.

Owner Al Caccamo cited a number of reasons for the closing, including inconvenient parking, excessive competition and panhandlers begging for money. He claims an unwillingness on the part of Danbury's government to help eradicate the venue’s issues contributed to its closing as well.
