The 379-unit apartment complex "will be very good for demographics and great support for housing," Mayor Mark Boughton said in a previous Daily Voice story.
The modern luxury apartment development is being completed by Greystar, a company “redefining excellence in apartment building,” according to its website. The website for 1 Kennedy Flats advertises the housing with the slogan, "Hang Your Hat Here," playing on Danbury's history as the Hat City.
This complex will offer studios as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom townhomes. The project's amenities will include a swimming pool, fitness center, covered parking and garages, and washers/dryers, and it’s even pet friendly.
