DANBURY, Conn. -- A revival is underway in Danbury where the Kennedy Flats apartment complex is under construction on Main Street, The Wall Street Journal reports.
City officials expect tenants of all ages to be drawn to the downtown residences, which will have rents of $1,500 to $3,000, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The 379-unit apartment complex "will be very good for demographics and great support for housing," Mayor Mark Boughton said in a previous Daily Voice story.
The modern luxury apartment development is being completed by Greystar, a company “redefining excellence in apartment building,” according to its website. The website for 1 Kennedy Flats advertises the housing with the slogan, "Hang Your Hat Here," playing on Danbury's history as the Hat City.
This complex will offer studios as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom townhomes. The project's amenities will include a swimming pool, fitness center, covered parking and garages, and washers/dryers, and it’s even pet friendly.
