Bounce! Trampoline Sports Looking To Hire For New Danbury Location

DANBURY, Conn. -- A new business in Danbury will give a big bounce to the city's employment numbers when it opens in May.

Bounce! Trampoline Sports, an exciting new concept in recreation, fitness and fun, will be celebrating the grand opening of its new facility in Danbury in May and expect to hire 65 full- and part-time employees.They are now hiring for all positions at the facility, which is located at 21 Prindle Lane.

Owner Lisa Cannon said she's excited about launching the business.

"We think we have a great product and we think there will be great interest," she said. "It is a significant amount of jobs for Danbury and the surrounding area."

Open positions include managers, cashiers, court monitors, party planners and party hosts. Job applications can be obtained by going to www.BounceDanbury.com. Part- and full-time positions are available and sports experience is a plus.

She said they are looking for energetic people with a positive outlook. They will work in a 45,000-square-foot facility that will feature all kinds of trampoline activities, including four basketball trampoline lanes and a parents studio with nine televisions. Parents will be able to stream TV shows to their phones through an app, Cannon said.

The park will open in May with a grand opening celebration that will benefit the Caroline Previdi Foundation created in memory of a first-grader who was lost in the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy.
