The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for northern Fairfield County for the overnight hours. The advisory will be in effect from 2 to 9 a.m. Saturday.
Overnight temperatures will drop into the middle and upper 30s from late Friday into Saturday morning, the weather service said.
The frost could damage sensitive outdoor plants, which should either be covered or brought indoors for protection.
For the rest of Friday, a high pressure system will keep the skies sunny with high temperatures of about 60 degrees.
Saturday will continue with clear and sunny skies and light winds. Temperatures on Saturday will be a few degrees warmer than Friday, with a high in the mid-60s.
The dry weather will continue on Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 60s.
Too soon to think about the workweek? The nice weather will continue Monday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 70.
