A 35-year-old Connecticut woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash that injured two others. The collision took place on Sunday, Jan. 28, in New Haven County at West Main Street at Watertown Avenue, in Waterbury. According to Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of West Main Street at Watertown Avenue involving a Honda Element and Ford Escape. A 54-year-old Connecticut man was killed during a one-car crash after driving off the highway. The collision took place in New Haven County around 8:50 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 13 in the area of 215 Perkins Ave., in Waterbury. Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police said the vehicle traveled off the roadway and into a wooded area before it came to a stop. A 14-year-old Connecticut girl was killed during a two-car crash that also injured five people, two critically. The crash took place in New Haven County around 2:20 a.m., Friday, July 21, at the intersection of East Main Street and Baldwin Street in Waterbury. Officials are investigating an early morning car crash that resulted in a woman's death. In New Haven County, a person was killed when a car and a box truck collided in the area of 271 Lakewood Road around 5:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, according to the Waterbury Police Department.
