CT Woman Accused Of Robbing Pair Of Banks 2 Days In A Row
A Connecticut woman has been charged with allegedly robbing two banks, two days in a row.
Heather Brown, age 48, of New Haven, was arrested on Monday, Feb. 12 for the two robberies that occurred on Tuesday, Feb. 6, and Wednesday, Feb. 7 in New Haven County in Waterbury.
According to Lt. Nadine Amatruda of the Waterbury Police, around 9:55 a.m., Feb. 6, a woman walked into the Wells Fargo. Bank on Wolcott Street and asked a teller for deposit slips. She then a note to the teller to hand over all of the cash. She left the bank with the money.

Workers at a Connecticut cannabis dispensary have ratified the first union contract for such a business in the state.
Employees at Zen Leaf Dispensary in New Haven County, located at 237 East Aurora St. in Waterbury, voted unanimously to ratify their union contract, the first such agreement in the state, UFCW Local 19 announced on Friday, Feb. 9.

18-Year-Old CT Woman Accused Of Shooting Man In Back Of Head, Killing Him
A man who was shot in the back of the head allegedly by an 18-year-old Connecticut woman has died from his injuries.
The incident began on Tuesday, Jan. 30, in New Haven County when police found a man shot in the back of the head when responding to a car crash behind Bertie's Restaurant in Waterbury.
The man, identified as Keno Williams, age 38, of Waterbury, died on Tuesday, Feb. 6 from his injuries, said Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police.
