Covid-19: CT State Loosens Restrictions On Who's Eligible For Vaccine Following the lead of the CDC, Connecticut will be adjusting its vaccination rollout to include new groups that are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Health officials in Connecticut announced that beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 12, anyone over the age of 65 will be included in “phase 1B” of the state's COVID-19 vaccination program. Previously, only healthcare workers, nursing home residents and employees, first responders, corrections officers, teachers, transit workers, and the general population over the age of 75.
