Surveillance Helps Nab Fairfield County Man Wanted In Drive-By Shooting
A Fairfield County man awaiting trial on assault charges has been arrested again in connection with an alleged shooting earlier this year. Dominique Jones, age 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 2, by the U.S. Marshalls Fugitive Task Force in connection with a shooting in February, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency management. The shooting occurred on the city's west side near the intersection of Maplewood Avenue and Howard Avenue, Appleby said.
