Bridgeport Family Struggles To Get Body Of Mother Back Home Following Death In Caribbean The family of a Bridgeport woman who died while on vacation in the  Caribbean is asking for help in raising funds to bring her home for burial. Librea Scott, 42, died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 6, while in Jamaica, said her daughter Monique Roy, 28, on a GoFundMe page. Since her death, the family has had a difficult time getting her remains back to Connecticut, she said.
