Connecticut State Police said the crash happened on Route 7 North in Brookfield at 2:50 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13. Man Found Dead Near Off-Ramp On I-84 In Danbury An area man was found dead on an off-ramp of I-84 in Danbury by a worker in the area, said the Connecticut State Police. The body of Herbert Ruehle, 63, of Carmel, was discovered around 11:10 a.m., Thursday, May 2, after troopers from Troop A-Southbury were dispatched to the area of I-84 eastbound, Exit 4 on-ramp in Danbury for a suspicious incident, said the Connecticut Stae Police.
