Bike Valued At $600 Stolen At YMCA In Darien An expensive bike was reportedly stolen from the Darien YMCA shortly before the New Year, police said. Shortly before noon on Thursday, Jan. 3, a Darien resident reported at police headquarters that her son’s bike had been stolen from the YMCA at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Dec. 30 when it was left in the bike rack at the location. According to police, the complainant said that the bike was found missing at approximately 6 p.m. that day when her son went to retrieve it before heading home from the YMCA.
