In November last year, the Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit received a tip that Rafael Veras-Molina, 28, of Orlando, who temporarily lived in Danbury, was selling crack-cocaine and heroin in Putnam. Man Nabbed For Illegally Dumping Trash, Debris Near I-84 A Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy had to get his hands dirty to track down a suspect who illegally dumped trash and construction debris on county property near I-84. On Monday, July 29, Deputy Randel Hill was on patrol on Barrett Road in Southeast when he came upon a “large quantity” of trash that had been illegally dumped. Hill photographed the scene and proceeded to dig through several bags to find any evidence that would lead them to the owner. Putnam County Police Capt. Officers from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department say they observed a vehicle commit a series of traffic violations on Route 202 in the Town of Southeast on Saturday, May 4 around 1 p.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop and determined that the driver, identified as 56-year-old Deborah Kern, had a suspended license in the state of New York, according to police.
