Metro-North Train Hits Unoccupied Car On Danbury Branch In Redding
REDDING, Conn. — A Metro-North train hit an unoccupied car on the tracks in Redding along the Danbury Branch late Friday, according to the News-Times. No injuries were reported in the incident, but train service was suspended until early Saturday, the News-Times said. The accident happened at about 11:25 p.m. Friday at the crossing at Topstone Road in Redding, the News-Times said. Trains were running on a regular schedule on Saturday, Metro-North said.
