7 Smoke Shops Busted For Underage Sales To Minors In Danbury
A series of unannounced compliance checks has landed several Fairfield County smoke shops in hot water for selling e-cigarettes and vaping products to minors, police said. Seven smoke shops in Danbury were busted for selling e-cigarettes and tobacco products to customers under 21 after a total of 15 unannounced compliance checks were conducted by authorities on Tuesday, June 13, according to Danbury Police. Fairfield County Shop Fails Tobacco Compliance Check, Police Say
Authorities shared the results of tobacco compliance inspections at a group of Fairfield County businesses. Police conducted unannounced compliance inspections at New Canaan businesses that sell tobacco products and/or electronic cigarettes on Wednesday, Aug. 10, according to the New Canaan Police Department. Undercover Tobacco Check Nets Five Violations In Stratford
Five Stratford businesses were fined after allegedly selling tobacco products to an underage decoy during an enforcement check. The enforcement on Wednesday, May 1, was conducted by the Stratford Police, along with members from the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Tobacco Prevention and Enforcement Program, said Stratford Police Capt.
