CT Communities Working With Eversource To Reduce Future Tree-Related Storm Damage
Communities are teaming with Eversource to help reduce potential tree damage during big storms in the future. Eversource Fined $29 Million For Isaias Response
Eversource is among the latest utility company to face millions in fines for its response during and after Tropical Storm Isaias. The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) imposed a $29 million penalty against Eversource for what the company described as failures during the storm. Eversource reported that 2,832 electric customers in Connecticut were still without power on Thursday, March 8. Eversource has been informing the City of Stamford that its residents should expect an average of three days until power restoration, in many cases.
