Stephen Figueroa, 29, of Shelton, was charged with first-degree sexual assault, Shelton Police announced on Saturday, July 20. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on Saturday, June 29 where Figueroa was arrested for domestic violence. Bridgeport Cop Arrested For Third Domestic Violence Incident, Shelton Police Say A Bridgeport police officer has been arrested for domestic violence for the third time in the past several years. Stephen Figueroa, 29, of Shelton, was arrested after a woman came to police headquarters around 9 a.m., Saturday, June 29, and reported she had been involved in a domestic incident with Figueroa, said Shelton Police Det.
