Missing Person Found Dead In Wooded Area In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man who had been missing for several days was found dead in a wooded area. Shin Maeno, age 28, of Stamford, was found around 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 23, was found dead in a wooded area of Redding by members of the State Police Search and Rescue Unit, said Captain Diedrich Hohn, of the Stamford Police. Maeno, who was reported missing on Thursday, Nov 18, was last seen leaving a friend’s apartment, in Stamford, at around noon on Wednesday, Nov. 17, police said. Roadwork To Affect Danbury Branch Train Service Roadwork is expected to impact service on the Danbury Branch for consecutive weekends as crews complete a road realignment project, the MTA announced.
