A 27-year-old police veteran in Fairfield County has retired after working as a well-known school resource and patrol officer and receiving numerous citations. High School Put On Lockdown Following Large Fight In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Fairfield County high school was put on lockdown following a fight involving at least 10 students. The fight took place around 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Bunnell High School in Stratford. According to Capt Frank Eannotti, of the Stratford Police Department, the fight involved numerous students and faculty/staff intervened in an attempt to break up the fight. Shots Fired During Little League Game Sparks Outrage From Community In Fairfield County
This story has been updated. State and local government officials are working to stem the number of shootings taking place in Fairfield County after shots were fired during a Little League game. The incident took place Saturday, May 15, during an East End game at Newfield Park in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management. Written Threat At High School Draws Police Presence In Fairfield County
Police are investigating an incident at a high school in Fairfield County in which a threat was written on a school wall. The incident took place around 12:20 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, at Greenwich High School when Greenwich Police were dispatched to the school after a student saw a message on a wall, according to authorities. The message concerned the student since it made reference to a weapon. Police in Connecticut are investigating an altercation that broke out after the Naugatuck High School graduation ceremony. A report of a photo allegedly showing a student from Darien High School holding a firearm has sparked an investigation, police say.
