Interstate 84 was backed up for several miles following a wrong-way, head-on crash with injuries in Putnam. The eastbound crash took place around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2 on the Exit 19 (Route 312) ramp in Southeast, said the New York State Police.
