Elayna Smith, of Brookfield, was arrested on Saturday, Sept. 28, during a traffic stop when police learned that she was a passenger in a car with whom she had a protective order, said Newtown Police Lt. Aaron Bahamonde. Bridgeport Man Charged With Violating Protective Order In South Norwalk A 36-year-old Fairfield County man was nabbed by police for violating a protective order after he was caught in the company of the person who had the order against him. Juan Rodriguez of Bridgeport was arrested around 2:30 a.m. Friday when a Norwalk police officer patrolling Water Street at Burritt Avenue observed three people engaged in suspicous activity, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.
