Driver Arrested After 6-Year-Old Left On Norwalk Housing Authority Van
A 47-year-old Norwalk Housing Authority bus driver was charged with child endangerment after locking a 6-year-old on a bus for the night. The incident occurred in Norwalk on Wednesday, May 15. According to Sgt. Ryan Evarts of the Norwalk Police, on May 15, patrol officers responded to a call where a 6-year-old child did not return home from after-school activities sponsored by the Norwalk Housing Authority. Norwalk Fire Destroys Two Apartment Units, Displaces Residents
Norwalk firefighters responded to a quick-moving blaze that displaced several residents. The fire started around 3:35 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, at 24 Suncrest Road, said Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Todd Smith. According to Smith, firefighters arriving on the scene reported heavy fire in the rear of the building with an extension inside the building. Fire Breaks Out In Norwalk Apartment Building; Tenants Evacuated
NORWALK, Conn. — Six apartments were damaged but no injuries were reported in a fire Wednesday morning at Carlton Court in Norwalk, according to media reports and social media posts from first responders. Tenants in the complex on Monterey Place evacuated as the fire broke out at about 7:30 a.m., according to the Connecticut Post.
