Song, Food & Fun At Blues & Views Festival In Westport This Weekend
Cool tunes, satiated tummies and smiling faces will be found on the banks of the Saugatuck River as the 12th Annual Blues & Views Festival hits Westport’s Levitt Pavilion.
Anders Osborne, Lawrence, Neville Jacobs and The Main Squeeze lead the two days of killer music, which starts Aug. 31 and continues Sept. 1—rain or shine. Also performing on the Pavilion’s stage will be Flow Tribe, High & Mighty Brass Band, Southern Avenue, The Commonheart, Kat Wright, The National Reserve, Jake Kulak and the Lowdown and Fairfield’s School of Rock.

Two From Fairfield County Among 68 Arrested In Drug Bust At Music Festival
Four residents of the Hudson Valley and two from Fairfield County were among 68 people charged during a four-day New York State Police detail that focused on the illegal distribution of controlled substances at the Disc Jam Music Festival in Stephentown, New York, east of Albany.
The detail was held from Thursday, June 6 to Monday, June 10 by members of Troop G and Troop K uniform and BCI, along with the Troop G Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team.

Area music lovers will be turning out in a big way to help support farmers across the nation by purchasing all of the tickets in less than four hours for Farm Aid 2018 in Hartford.
