A 43-year-old driver was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said he struck a mother and her 8-month-old baby, causing serious injuries, before crashing his car into a Westchester County barbershop. I-684 Lane Reopens After Serious Crash In Westchester County

An allegedly drunk driver was tracked down by police in Fairfield County after being involved in a motor vehicle crash at a grocery store parking lot before attempting to flee, New Canaan Police investigators said. A serious motor vehicle crash caused the closure of the right and center lanes of a stretch of I-84 late Wednesday morning. The incident occurred eastbound at the Taconic State Parkway (Exit 16) in East Fishkill. Police in New Canaan busted a Fairfield County man for allegedly drinking and driving before being involved in a motor vehicle crash when he was following too closely to another driver on Monday night. Serious I-84 Crash Prompts Police Warning To Motorists
Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a motor-vehicle crash late Sunday afternoon on I-84 in Dutchess County that prompted a warning to motorists by state police. There were no serious injuries in the crash in East Fishkill, police said. "Please drive carefully, and if you miss your exit, do not back up," police said. "Get off at the next exit, and find the most appropriate route to your destination." Troopers were assisted by the East Fishkill Fire Department and Mobile Life Support Services.
