Brewer True Value Hardware in Mamaroneck, which dates back to 1879, will be closing their East Post Road doors over the summer, the owners announced. New Coffee Shop To Open In Former Starbucks Space In Stamford Good news for downtown Stamford.  Winfield Street Coffee will open at Ferguson Library this summer where it will occupy the space where Starbucks used to be until it closed in 2018. Renovations will begin May 9 and completed by mid-August, said owner Breno Donatti. The coffee shop will have an outside entrance at 96 Broad Street or you can enter from inside the library. Dominic Muro’s Original New York Bakery & Deli has produced baked bread for restaurants and delis throughout the Norwalk area, to complement its popular breakfast and lunch counter. Muro took over New York Bakery from his father-in=law in 1967. The bakery moved to 52 Main St. after the flood of 1955 destroyed its earlier location on River Street.
