The identities have been released of the two men found dead after a New Year's Eve boating accident in a reservoir in Northern Westchester, New York State Police said. State Police have also confirmed that there are no additional fatalities involved in the incident at the Muscoot Reservoir in the hamlet of Goldens Bridge in the town of Lewisboro. A man and woman are facing charges after being accused of throwing metal objects at motorists in separate and unrelated road-rage incidents that occurred on the same day in different towns on Interstate 684 in Northern Westchester. There will be single and double lane closures on I-684 in Northern Westchester for several days as contracting crews continue maintenance activity in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert cautioning that there will be roadwork projects in North Salem, Lewisboro and North Castle beginning on Tuesday. The 38-year-old man operating a 2014 BMW motorcycle who was killed in a crash with an SUV in Northern Westchester on Friday afternoon has been identified. At approximately 2:15 p.m., Daniel J. Thiel of Sandy Hook, CT, was operating the motorcycle on Route 121 in Lewisboro when he struck another vehicle, a 2014 Acura MDX, at the intersection of Route 138, state police from the Somers barrack said.
