Darien Police Department Promotes Officers Three Fairfield police officers have been promoted after years of service on the job. Darien Police Chief Jeremiah P. Marron Jr. announced on Tuesday, April 30, the following promotions: Lt. Andrew Mastroianni was promoted to the rank of captain, effective Sunday, May 5.
