Beloved Stamford Lacrosse Player Dies At 23 The Stamford community is mourning the loss of 23-year-old Tamarie Sterling, who died earlier this month after battling a rare type of liver cancer. He is remembered as being an inspirational leader and passionate lacrosse player with a positive mindset.
