Fairfield County Man Nabbed For Stabbing That Left Victim In Critical Condition, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man multiple times outside of a market, leaving him in critical condition.
The incident took place around 3:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, in Bridgeport, at the intersection of Kossuth Street and Maple Street; just outside the Agua Miel Market.
Bridgeport Police were alerted to the crime after receiving a call from an area hospital that a man has walked in with multiple stab wounds to his torso, said Captain Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.

Fairfield County Man Charged With Illegal Gun Possession
A Fairfield County man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
David Burden, age 40, of Norwalk, pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, Jan. 20, following the indictment, said John H. Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
Burden has been detained in state custody since his arrest on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
As alleged in court documents and statements made in court, on Sept. 30, Bridgeport Police officers arrested Burden after he fired a gun in the area of Kossuth Street and Nichols Street in Bridgeport.

ID Released For Man Shot, Killed In Bridgeport
A man found shot and killed in Bridgeport has been identified by police.
Philip Ingram, 57, of Bridgeport, became the city's third homicide victim of the year when he was shot around 9:10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 14, said Scott Appleby, director of the Office of Emergency Management.
According to Appleby, the department received a call from a man around 9 a.m., saying that he had just had a verbal altercation with another person who brandished a weapon in the area of Artic and Jane streets.

A man has been shot and killed in Bridgeport in the city's third homicide of the year.
Bridgeport Police received information regarding a possible shooting around 9:10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 14, in the 800 block of Kossuth Street, said Scott Appleby, director of the Office of Emergency Management.
On the scene, officers found a man in the roadway, Appleby said.
