Police Search For Pickup Truck Connected To Hit-Run CT Crash Police are asking the public for help locating a pickup truck that allegedly fled a hit-and-run crash that injured two juveniles in Connecticut. The crash took place in New Haven County around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14 in Wallingford, on Highland Avenue in the area of Johnson Road. A preliminary investigation by members of the Wallingford Police revealed that three juveniles had been walking along Highland Avenue when two of the three were struck by a dark-colored pickup truck traveling west on Highland Avenue, said Sgt. Handgun Stolen In Connecticut Recovered From 17-Year-Old, Police Say A juvenile was arrested with a loaded handgun stolen out of Connecticut after being stopped by officers in Western Massachusetts. The 17-year-old teen boy was stopped around 10:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 15, when members of the Springfield Police Department in Hampden County spotted him remove the firearm from his sweatshirt pocket and then put it back in. The teen was with a group that had gathered on Main Street. Fight Breaks Out After Graduation Ceremony At Naugatuck High School Police in Connecticut are investigating an altercation that broke out after the Naugatuck High School graduation ceremony. Three juveniles have been identified as being responsible for the incident, police said, after a fight broke out at the school following the ceremony on Rubber Avenue. There were minor injuries reported at the scene. According to police, the district’s School Resource Officer is continuing to investigate the incident.
