Teen Stabbed At Trumbull Mall During Fight With Brother, Police Say
A dispute between two Fairfield County brothers resulted in a stabbing that left one of the siblings wounded. The incident took place in Trumbull at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Trumbull Mall. Jovanie Hall, age 18, of Bridgeport was taken into police custody at his residence a short time after the fight that began when he went to pick up his two siblings at the mall, said Lt. Two Danbury teens have been arrested for allegedly stealing a Honda CRV that may have been involved with two shootings in the area and taking police on a high-speed pursuit. The incidents began in Danbury around 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23 when officers responded to Mill Ridge Road for two separate shots fired complaints, police said. Greenwich police are searching for the driver of a stolen BMW who sideswiped a police cruiser and drove over a resident's lawn. The incident took place in the Glenville section of Greenwich on Monday, Jan. 16 around midnight. Police began looking for the car after receiving a report that it was driving around the area looking at vehicles, said Capt. Mark Zuccerella. The incident took place in Norwalk around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9 in the area of 4 Merritt Street. Two Connecticut teens were nabbed in connection to a stolen car and shots fired incident. The Hartford County incident took place in Southington around 1:15 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23. A 14-year-old Fairfield County boy has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man in the leg as he was walking down a city street. Three teenagers are facing assault charges for a fight police said is related to the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old in Fairfield County.
