Swastika Carved Into Tree In Redding REDDING, Conn. -- A swastika was recently found carved into a tree on a popular trail in Redding. First Selectman Julia Pemberton posted on the town's Facebook page Saturday afternoon that the swastika had been found carved into the tree. She said that town officials are working to identify the person or persons responsible. "THERE IS NO PLACE FOR HATE IN REDDING," Pemberton wrote.
