Man Nabbed For Shoplifting $1K In Goods From Area CVS A man who was spotted putting items in a brown paper bag at a CVS pharmacy was arrested fleeing the store. Joseph Carter III, address unknown, was apprehended by Westport Police around 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, after responding to the CVS Pharmacy on Post Road East in Westport for a report of a shoplifter, Westport Police said. Employees told officers Carter was observed placing items in a brown paper bag and then fled the store when approached by employees, police said.
