ID Released For Person Killed In Hit-Run Fairfield County Crash Police have released the identity of a motorcyclist killed by an alleged hit-and-run driver in Fairfield County. Hazem H. Mohamed, age 26, of Fairfield, was killed around 7:20 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 2 on Kings Highway East, according to Lt. Michael Paris, of the Fairfield Police.  Police responded to the area after receiving several 911 calls to report a crash involving a motorcycle on Kings Highway East near Jennings Road, said Paris. Man Nabbed For Four Gas Station Robberies, Fairfield Police Say An Easton man was nabbed for four gas station robberies that took place over the past three months. Conlin William Mellen, 24, was arrested Monday by Fairfield Police for four counts of robbery and four counts of larceny in connection with the four robberies, said Fairfield Police Lt. Suspect On Loose After Knifepoint Fairfield Convenience Store Robbery Fairfield police are asking for the public's help in identifying an armed robber who held up a convenience store at knifepoint. The robbery took place around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, at the Star Fuels on Jennings Road near Black Top Turnpike, Fairfield Police said. The man, who is described as being a white male, 6-foot, in his 20s or 30s, with long brown hair and cuts and scrapes on his hand, pulled out the knife and demanded cash, police said.
