ID Released For Man Pulled From Pond In Bridgeport
Police have identified the man who was pulled from Bunnells Pond in Beardsley Park in January. James Freeman, 50, of Bridgeport, was found in the water after a passerby call 911 around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, said Bridgeport Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene after being pulled unclothed and frozen from the pond. In January police said there were no indications of foul play even though his clothes were found with a small amount of blood on them.
