Weeklong Daytime Double Lane Closures Start On I-684
Motorists are advised that double lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 684 northbound and southbound. The closures will be between Exit 3 (Route 22) in Armonk and Exit 6 (Route 35) in Katonah, Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting. Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly. Three Fairfield County Residents Charged With DWI In State Police Stops
Several area motorists were among two dozen busted by New York State Police troopers in the Hudson Valley for alleged impaired driving. Local residents facing charges include: Westchester County On Saturday, Feb. 23 State Police troopers from Livingston arrested Michael S. Grant, 31, of Elmsford, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9 in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested. Man, Woman Threw Metal Objects At Motorists In Separate I-684 Road-Rage Incidents, Police Say
A man and woman are facing charges after being accused of throwing metal objects at motorists in separate and unrelated road-rage incidents that occurred on the same day in different towns on Interstate 684 in Northern Westchester. At approximately 3:10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4 while driving, 42-year-old Carmel resident Luca Racanelli threw a quarter-inch socket wrench at another driver in North Castle, state police said.
