A report of an attempted break-in in Connecticut led police to arrest a 25-year-old on charges of driving under the influence and possession of drugs. Troopers responded to a report of an individual possibly breaking into a Litchfield County home in Roxbury at about 11:45 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, according to Connecticut State Police. A Fairfield County man with a previous conviction for driving under the influence is facing new charges after being busted driving while allegedly drunk without a court-ordered interlock device in his vehicle, police said. A traffic stop in Westchester resulted in felony DWI charges for a Fairfield County man with a suspended license, according to police. The family of a 21-year-old Manhattanville College student scolded the drunk driver who struck and killed their son in court at her sentencing on Wednesday.
