Man Nabbed In Trumbull For String Of Burglaries In Multiple States, Police Say
A New York man driving a truck with a stolen license plate wanted for its involvement in numerous alleged burglaries in surrounding states was nabbed after a short chase in Connecticut.
Hudson Valley resident Michael Simpson, age 40, of Walden in Orange County, was spotted by police in Fairfield County on Thursday, Nov. 30.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., an officer in Trumbull located the wanted Dodge Ram pick-up, driven by Simpson, traveling north on Daniels Farm Road.

Man, Woman From CT Both Ejected After Vehicle Overturns On I-84 Stretch
A man and woman were both ejected in a single-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley, authorities said.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, April 15 in Putnam County on I-84 in the town of Southeast.
A preliminary investigation determined that the driver, Yorman Hernandez-Alcala, age 29, of Bristol, Connecticut, was traveling eastbound in the right lane when the vehicle in the left lane failed to stay in the lane, causing him to lose control, New York State Police said.
