Fairfield County Home Health Aide Nabbed Forging Checks Of Employer, Police Say A Fairfield County home health aide was arrested for allegedly stealing and cashing checks from the person she cared for. Latonya Still, age 40, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 16 by the Westport Police for the incident which took place in November, said Lieutenant David Wolf. Police: Home Health Aide From Fairfield County Steals Check From Employer A former home health aide from Fairfield County is in police custody after allegedly stealing from her employer while taking care of him in Westchester, police said. Bridgeport resident Sheaquana Mowatt, 31, surrendered herself into police custody in Scarsdale on Wednesday, Dec. 19, where she was charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny. According to police, Mowatt allegedly was a home health aide working for a family on Brite Avenue in Scarsdale, when she stole an $1,800 check from her employer and deposited it into her own bank account.
