CT Teen Killed In Shelton Hit-Run Crash On Route 8, Others Seriously Injured A 14-year-old Connecticut girl was killed and two others were seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Route 8 early Sunday morning, Jan. 12.  Chloe Ramsubhag, of Waterbury, was riding in a Honda Del Sol when for unknown reasons, an SUV crashed into the rear of the vehicle just after 12:30 a.m. near Exit 7, Connecticut State Police said. College Student In NY's Hudson Valley Killed In Hit-Run Crash Near Campus A college student was killed in and hit-and-run crash near campus in the Hudson Valley. The incident happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23 in Ulster County outside SUNY New Paltz where the victim, Ray Rattray, age 22, was a student. The Ulster County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred on Route 208 in the town of New Paltz between the area of Hawk Drive and Cross Creek Road. When deputies arrived, they located Rattray, a New York City resident, in a wooded area approximately 20 feet from the road.  Rattray was a Philosophy major, an Educational Opportunity Program student, …

Suspect Nabbed After Woman Killed In Hit-Run Crash At Northern Westchester Shopping Center A suspect has been apprehended after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run crash at a busy shopping center in Northern Westchester. The crash happened around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 in the town of Lewisboro at the Orchard Square Shopping Center at the intersection of routes 35 and 121 in the hamlet of Cross River. The victim, Randi J. Blattberg, age 65, of Mount Vernon, was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco with life-threatening injuries, New York State Police said. ID Released For Bethel Man Struck, Killed In Hit-Run Crash Police in Connecticut have identified a Fairfield County man who was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash. John W. Capodanno, age 64, of Bethel, was killed around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 6 in Litchfield County in the area of 177 Danbury Road in New Milford. According to New Milford Police, Capodanno was crossing the street when he was struck and killed by a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Maria Bosch, age 41, of New Milford. Bosch, who was not injured, fled the scene but her vehicle was found at a nearby apartment complex, police said. She is cooperating with the police, officials…

Marileidy Morel Araujo, 32, of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, was killed in the crash that happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 4 in the Town of Fairfield in the area of 2000 Redding Road.
