Cause Of Death Released For Popular Actor, 50, Who Attended Prep School In CT
The cause of death has been released for a popular actor who was born and grew up in the region.
The death of Alec Musser, age 50, was announced last weekend on Instagram by his fiancée Paige Press, who lived with Musser in Del Mar, California, north of San Diego.
According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Officer, Musser died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Suspicious CT Shooting Leaves Man, Woman Dead
A man and a woman were shot and killed in what police are calling "suspicious deaths."
The two were discovered in a Hartford County home in East Granby around 5:45 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 28 on Wynding Hills Road, according to the Connecticut State Police.
Preliminary information says troopers responded to the home after receiving a 911 call reporting gunshots, state police said.
Troopers and East Granby Officers responded to the residence, where they located two adults, a male, and a woman, with apparent gunshot wounds. Both adults were pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.

Three men have been arrested for allegedly stealing large spools of wire at Lowe's stores across Connecticut.
The trio, identified as Daniel Raymond Thomas, age 22, Clarence Gerald Davis, age 22, and 23-year-old Marcus Hunter, all of Fort Worth, Texas, were arrested Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Hartford County when the Southington Police responded to the Lowes Home Improvement, at 500 Executive Blvd S., on a report of a theft of large spools of wire in progress.

Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge After Stabbing At CT Motel
A Western Massachusetts man is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly attacking a family member with a blade during an altercation at a Connecticut hotel, police said.
Shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26, officers from the Enfield Police Department in Hartford County responded to a reported stabbing at the Motel 6 on Hazard Avenue.
