Social Media Post Of Guns Causes Concern At Greenwich High School
Police in Fairfield County are investigating after learning of an anonymous social media posting that alleged there was a group of high school students in possession of a gun. The incident occurred in Greenwich on Tuesday, Feb. 27, and concerned Greenwich High School. Capt. John Slusarz of the Greenwich Police said the department became aware of the posting that Greenwich High School students "may be" in possession of a gun. CT Woman Shot In Head, Convicted Felon Charged
A Connecticut woman was found shot in the head outside of a home with an infant nearby. The incident took place in New Haven County around 7:50 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 3 on Raymond Street in Woodbridge. According to Woodbridge Police Chief Frank Cappielo, officers responded to the home on a report of a shooting. When they arrived, Cappielo said they found a woman who had been shot in the head and her infant who was uninjured, outside. A Connecticut man has been charged with illegal gun possession after state police found a loaded gun while investigating a crash. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the town of Norfolk. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers responded to a crash on Route 44 in Norfolk, where Hartford County resident David Kulikowski, age 39, of Avon, drove his Toyota Corolla off the road on Route 44 and collided with a concrete barrier. Three men are facing charges after allegedly leading police on a highway chase in a stolen vehicle through the region, authorities said. New York State Police troopers in Northern Westchester attempted to stop the vehicle, which had been reported stolen, at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, as it drove on I-684 in the town of Bedford. A joint task force operation aimed at drive-by shootings in Fairfield County arrested one teen found getting into a stolen vehicle while carrying a loaded weapon. A Fairfield County man was busted with an alleged handgun and drugs after being pulled over speeding and using all three lanes of traffic to pass other vehicles. Yan Lee DeJesus, age 21, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, April 27, after Connecticut State Police noticed him driving more than 78 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 25 and passing other vehicles in all three lanes while flashing his lights at them, said the state police.
