18-Year-Old Charged In 3 Stamford Armed Carjackings Of High-End Vehicles An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with three armed carjackings in Fairfield County of high-end vehicles earlier this year. On Tuesday, June 18, the Stamford Police Department Major Crimes Unit concluded its investigation into New Haven County resident Tyssan Woods of Waterbury for his involvement in three carjackings that occurred during the early mornings of Tuesday, March 26, and Thursday, March 28, in Stamford.  According to Capt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police, investigators gathered digital and forensic evidence at the scenes, linking Woods to these crimes.  …
